Care instructions:
1. Spot Clean First
For minor dirt or sweat stains, you do not need to submerge the entire hat. Mix a few drops of mild laundry detergent (or Dawn dish soap) with cool water. Dip a soft-bristled toothbrush or soft cloth into the mixture and lightly scrub the fabric.

The Embroidery: Be extra careful with your embroidery. Scrub gently in the direction of the stitches so they do not fray.
2. Hand Washing (For Deep Cleans)
If the hat needs an all-over wash, hand washing is the safest method.
- Fill a sink or basin with cool water and add about one tablespoon of mild, color-safe detergent.
- Submerge the hat and let it soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Gently scrub heavily soiled areas (like the inner sweatband) with your fingers or a soft brush.
- Rinse the hat thoroughly in cool, clean water until all soap suds are gone.
3. Drying and Reshaping
Never wring, twist, or put a flat bill hat in the dryer, as this will permanently warp the brim and shrink the hat.
- Gently pat or press out the excess water using a clean towel.
- Reshape the crown so it stays rigid and ensure the brim is perfectly flat.
- Air-dry by placing it upside down on a small round bowl, cup, or hat form. Placing balled-up microfiber towels or tissue paper inside the crown can also help it hold its shape while drying.
